In the sermon on the mount Jesus correlates our treasure and hearts. He says straightforward “You can’t serve both God and money".  Money is a terrible master that will deaden our relationship with God.  God’s plan is always been for His people to be hold money in a generous way.  This is the path to a close walk with the our heavenly father and a much better life story.
