Jesus told his disciples,“I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” (John 15:11NLT)

As Christians we are apparently to be joy-filled people. However do followers of Jesus Christ really know what true joy is; even to overflow in difficult times? The Apostle Paul shared with the early Philippian church how this could be: for Christ’s sake, joy lived out. “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”(Philippians 1:21NIV)
